Our Mission

At the Performance Boat Club of Canada, our mission is clear: to promote safe and responsible performance boating. We achieve this through education, awareness, and organized boating events. But we don’t stop there. We’re committed to giving back to our local communities through charitable fundraising activities and unwavering support for the boating community.

Fundraising Achievements in 2023

Since our inception in 2007, we’ve been making waves—both on the water and in our communities. Together, our passionate community of boaters, sponsors and donors has raised over $850,000 for various causes. These funds have made a significant impact, supporting local initiatives, scholarships, families in need and charitable organizations.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to our members, sponsors, and donors who made 2023 an exceptional year. Your generosity has allowed us to contribute significantly to important causes.  Here’s a summary of the 2023 seasons remarkable donations totalling more than $140,000.00!

1. Muskoka Discovery Center Youth Programs and Day Camp Donation

• Date: June 24th, 2023
• Location: Muskoka Lakes – Gravenhurst, Ontario
• Amount: $34,000

2. Georgian College Marine Tech Scholarship Fund Donation

• Date: July 8th, 2023
• Location: Georgian Bay – Midland, Ontario
• Amount: $20,000

3. Ride For Dad Donation fighting against Prostate Cancer

• Date: August 19th, 2023
• Location: Lake Simcoe – Orillia, Ontario
• Amount: $22,000

4. Make a Wish Foundation Donation

• Date: September 16th, 2023
• Location: Rice Lake – Roseneath, Ontario
• Amount: $30,000

5. Kawartha Spirit of Christmas Donation

• Date: September 30th, 2023
• Location: Kawartha Lakes – Bobcaygeon, Ontario
• Amount: $35,000
