Fisher Excavating and Grading and Performance Boat Club of Canada present 2024 Lake Simcoe Rescue Run in Benefit of The Ramara Volunteer Fire Dept Marine Rescue Unit

Location: Lake Simcoe – Pier One Resort Lagoon City, Ontario

Friday August 16th

• 2:00 pm – Boats begin to arrive at Pier One Resort, launching and trailer parking at Lagoon City Marina, Dockage available at Pier One Resort
• 4:00 pm – Driver check in, and happy hour at Pier One resort. –
• 7:00 pm – Lagoon City bbq with live band at Pier One Bistro and Bar

Agenda – Saturday August 17th

• 08:30 am – Driver check in at Pier One Resort Lagoon City conference room.
• 09:30 am – Mandatory roll call, drivers meeting and safety brief in conference room at Pier One Resort
• 10:00 am – Boats depart Lagoon City and onward to Orillia lap around Big Chiefs Island onward to check point #1 Atherley Narrows.
• 11:00 am – Depart Checkpoint #1 Atherly Narrows and proceed to Checkpoint #2 and lunch stop at Friday Harbor
• 11:30 pm – Arrive at Checkpoint #2 at Friday Harbour for lunch *Note: it is single file entry into Friday Harbour.

Please be aware of harbour staff on sea-doo watercraft who will guide you to PBC docking area.

• 1:00 pm – Depart Friday Harbour to Checkpoint #3 Lefroy Harbor
• 1:30 pm – Depart Lefroy Harbor to Checkpoint #4 Big East Marine.
• 2:00 pm – Depart Big East Marine for checkpoint #5 Centennial park Barrie waterfront
• 2:45 pm – Depart Centennial park return to Lagoon city.
• 3:15 pm – Arrive at Lagoon City for raft up and drone pics on north side of jetty weather permitting. Run is officially over.
• 7:00 pm – Dinner, auction and awards ceremony at Pier One Resort

Total Distance of run is approximately 95 miles, please be sure to start with a full tank of fuel. Fuel is available at the lunch stop in Friday Harbor.

The awards dinner and auction will be held at the Pier One Resort, Brechin, Ontario on Saturday, August 17th, 2023 at 7:00 pm.

Event Fees: $675 per boat includes Driver, navigator, access to Friday night reception, breakfast, lunch, dinner and event shirts. extra crew $150 per person
